Country Insurance and Financial Long Term Care Products

Country offers Three Plans that are tax qualified and provide varying levels of protection. Tax qualified means the benefits you receive are generally not considered taxable income, and your premiums may also be income tax deductible. (In Illinois, plans referred to are all Traditional Long Term Care insurance policies.)

Comprehensive — Provides the widest range of benefits, including coverage for a nursing home or other qualified facility, as well as care services provided in your home or community.

Facility Only — Covers only charges incurred while in a nursing home or other qualified facility. (This policy is not available in Oregon. In Wisconsin, the policy is titled Tax Qualified Nursing Home Insurance Policy.)

Shared Benefit— Covers the same expenses eligible under the Comprehensive policy, but benefits for both husband and wife are combined to apply toward the Lifetime Benefit Maximum. It offers a higher overall policy Lifetime Benefit Maximum, with the potential for a higher individual lifetime benefit than if both spouses purchased their own Comprehensive policy.
