Prudential Long Term Care Insurance Products

Prudential's LTC3SM product offers highly flexible coverage, by enabling policy holders to essentially set their own level of a number of parameters. This chosen level will dictate the extent of benefits included in the plan, as well as the monthly premiums you will pay.

Benefit Waiting/Elimination Period controls the length of time between diagnosis and benefit application, in other words the number of days you will have to wait before receiving benefits. The longer the Elimination Period, the lower your premium will be. Choices may include 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 365 days.

Lifetime Maximum Benefit defines the length of time you will be able to collect benefits. Options include 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10 years, as well as Unlimited.

Facility Daily Benefit pinpoints the maximum amount that the policy will reimburse per day for institutional care benefits. For this benefit level, you may choose reimbursement amounts between $50 and $500 per day, in increments of $10.

Home Care Daily Benefit is established as a percentage of the Facility Daily Benefit, and controls the amount of benefit reimbursement for home and community-based care as 50%, 75%, 100% and 150% of the Facility Daily Benefit. The 150% option can only be chosen with a Facility Benefit of $350 or less.

Home Care Benefit Payment Options offer means to receive home and community-based benefits, each with varying advantages. These include a Daily Benefit, Monthly Benefit, Cash Alternative, Flexible Cash Benefit Rider, and Cash Benefit Rider.

Additional Benefit Choices include a flexible Inflation Protection option, Home Support Services Benefits and Care Management. Proper research and detailed discussion with a Prudential representative will enable you to find the perfect solution for your family, with coverage you know you can trust.
